2,100 SF Addition | 1,900 SF Rennovation

This project consists of a series of interventions that transform a dark 19th century cottage into a light-filled rambling sequence of spaces. Massive stone walls left standing from the ruins of a stone barn were incorporated to enclose a new great room and form the rustic garden walls for an outdoor room. A new entry with master bath above links the house to the new great room.  A new garage with office above and a new large dormer in the existing home complete the transformation. Reclaimed wood from the old barn was reused as interior finishes.
