Two additions to the Plotkin residence combine business and pleasure. A two story office addition and a sunroom were added to the back of the existing house. A new staircase with built-in shelves and drawers leads to the office. Both the stair and office are flooded with sunlight from south facing windows that offer views to the woods beyond.
It's own little observatory, the sunroom is a box of glass, designed for star gazing and appreciating the home's wooded setting. The stained interiors and ceiling contrast with the white painted exterior that matches the existing house. Radiant heated floors and high glass windows make it ideal for both day and night time use.
